Instructor: Vance Heroth

Vance has made maple syrup  since he was a child.  He built a sugar shack when he retired and and makes syrup as a hobby and for family use.

The workshop

The workshop will include key sugaring information:  trees, taps, buckets, lines, pins, etc.  Sugaring equipment from Kilts Farm will be used as part of the workshop.

And some hands on experience: boiling and finishing

The workshop is designed for youth not currently involved in maple syrup making

Cost per student: $45 (materials included) ($35 for Kilts Farm Members)
