At Kilts Farm, we are passionate about preserving and sharing traditional crafts. We offer a diverse range of hands-on workshops, including blacksmithing, cooking, weaving, spinning, textile identification, apple cider making, maple syrup making, tinsmithing, woodworking, and timber framing. Our workshop instructors are experienced tradesmen and tradeswomen, many of whom have careers rooted in history museums who embody the spirit of traditional crafts. They bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, ensuring a rich learning environment for all participants.

We welcome participants of all skill levels to our workshops, including absolute beginners! Our goal is to make traditional trades accessible to everyone. Unless a workshop description explicitly states that advanced skills are required, you can assume it is designed to be beginner-friendly. We encourage you to join us and discover the joy of hands-on learning!

Our workshops are designed for immersive learning and typically range from one to three days, with three days being the maximum. To ensure a personalized and high-quality learning experience, we intentionally keep our class sizes small, usually limited to five or six participants. This allows for ample individual attention and hands-on instruction from our skilled tradesmen.
