Our 2025 Open House was a fantastic day, truly embodying the spirit of Kilts Farm: welcoming the community to experience our vibrant homestead firsthand. The Open House was an opportunity for everyone to explore the historic Red Farm House and New World Dutch Barn, meet our dedicated team members, and chat with the talented tradesmen and tradeswomen who lead our workshops.
Throughout the day, visitors enjoyed a dynamic showcase of traditional trades and skills. With the rhythmic clatter of the looms to the sparks coming from the forge, there was something fascinating at every turn. We also delved into the past by looking at the ongoing archaeology on site and brought history to life through delicious cooking demonstrations in the summer kitchen offering everyone a bit of the tasty results! The Open House provided a wonderful sneak peek into the exciting array of workshops we offer, giving attendees a chance to see what future learning opportunities await at Kilts Farm.
